Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about myai.meme
How does myai.meme work?
You upload any photo, choose a caption vibe (roast, wholesome, Gen-Z, cinematic, sarcastic, devotional, wellness, motivational, or custom), and our AI analyzes the image and writes a caption specifically for that photo. The meme is rendered and ready to download in under 60 seconds.
Do I need an account?
You need an account to generate memes so we can manage your free usage limits and sync your Pro status across devices. Sign up takes under a minute.
Is myai.meme free?
Yes. The free plan includes 10 trial memes total across all 8 caption styles. Free memes include a watermark. After that, subscribe to Pro for up to 1,200 memes per month, watermark-free downloads, and priority processing.
What happens to my photos?
Your photos are used only to generate your meme. We do not use them to train AI models or sell them to third parties. Generated memes are stored so you can access your history and share links. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
What photo types work best?
Any photo with expressive faces, clear subjects, or a strong visual mood works well. Candid reaction shots, portraits, group moments, and behind-the-scenes photos tend to produce the best captions. Very dark or low-contrast images may produce weaker results.
Can I customize the caption?
Select the 'Custom' vibe and type your own description (up to 140 characters) to guide the AI toward a specific style, tone, or reference. The AI will use your description to write the caption.
Can I use the memes commercially?
Yes, for content you create with your own original photos. Do not use photos you do not have rights to. See our Terms of Service for full usage rights.
How do I share a meme?
After generating, you can download the image directly, or use the platform share buttons to share to Facebook, X, LinkedIn, or copy the link for Instagram. Each meme also has a unique public share URL at myai.meme/meme/[id].
Can I cancel my Pro subscription?
Yes, at any time. Cancellation and refund details are on our Cancellation page and in the Terms of Service.
What AI model generates the captions?
Captions are generated by Google Gemini, a multimodal AI that can analyze images and write contextually relevant text. The same model powers caption styles ranging from Gen-Z brainrot to cinematic one-liners.
